ABSN was able to send the Letter of Intent Cover Letter; Letter of Intent Guidelines and the program Terms and Conditions to all the Directors of ABSN, REACH Sites, Bands, Tribal Councils, Friendship Centres and Aboriginal Organizations and Businesses that were on the ABSN contact list.
The deadline for the LOI's was on July 29th and on August 2, 2011 the Letters of Intent and a report was sent along with the LOI's to the BC Regional Implementation Team. There were 78 LOI's received for a total overall project costs of $84,428,092 with $56,374,448 being requested from the program.
